Serving the Los Angeles, CA area since 2012, we offer everything you’ll need to get off to a positive and proper start and beyond.

Class: M1 is the first and only fully certified, licensed and insured comprehensive private motorcycle school in California.

Motorcycle
Our private one-on-one motorcycle rider training will prepare you for your M1 motorcycle license with comprehensive and personal instruction. Learn at your convenience and individual pace. Our instructors are certified and experienced. Your success and safety are our priority; your satisfaction our goal.

Advanced training can offer expert guidance and support from parking lot to street; or personalized assistance to experienced riders seeking to dust-off or sharpen skills.

Scooter
Scooter more your style? California code now requires a Class M1 license for all “motor-driven cycles”. Our Scooter Class will prepare you for the DMV and the streets. Take advantage of our personalized, expert instruction and do it right. Our scoot or yours.

Concierge
With our motorcycle concierge service, we can help you pass the DMV skills test, find your first bike and deliver it to your home, or simply consult on all things motorcycle (or scooter!). Special requests? Just ask!

Taking the first steps as a new rider is an exciting process and important time. We get it. We’re passionate about motorcycling and share your enthusiasm. We also have a passion for the art of teaching; our approach is patient, systematic, and relaxed. And, oh yeah…fun!

Meet Our Founder/Owner
Steve Krugman—Hollywood’s Go-To Moto Guru—brings a unique combination of background, expertise, and passion to motorcycle education. A professional musician most of his career, he earned a parallel reputation as an accomplished and in-demand teacher and clinician. Music brought him to Los Angeles, and Los Angeles brought him to a life-changing love of motorcycles.

Pairing his gift as an educator with a growing moto obsession was natural. Applying years of experience as a professional motorcycle instructor, he developed Class: M1 Private Motorcycle Training. For well over a decade, the school has introduced legions of safe, happy riders (including many high-profile actors, musicians, and athletes) to the road.

His book, The Craft and Art of Motorcycling, is the product of having taught thousands to ride, and the companion to a finely honed curriculum and philosophy of motorcycle instruction.

Steve still instructs many of our private courses personally.
